On the Rooftop of the Joliet Area Historical Museum
We have a lovely evening planned for our Class of 1969 Fiftieth Reunion...
On Saturday, September 21, we will celebrate our reunion with food and live music
from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.
on the Houbolt Rooftop of the Joliet Area Historical Museum,
which is located on the corner of Cass and Ottawa Streets in downtown Joliet
(the former Ottawa Street Methodist Church building).
The Museum Galleries will be open for viewing throughout the event.
Music by The Wood
(In case of inclement weather, we will be in the Route 66 Visitor's Center lower level auditorium instead.)
More information will be included in your invitations, BUT...
This event is casual. There is no "dress code" - wear whatever makes you comfortable.
If you want to dress up, dress up. If you want to wear jeans and your 50th reunion shirt, then do so.
The evening is all about re-connecting with your classmates, enjoying some food and drink,
listening to a 60's-70's live band and dancing if you wish.
The whole museum is available to us, so there will be plenty of places to congregate and chat with each other.
The only "requirement" will be a group picture,
and if you don't want to be included in that, you don't have to be.
Simply come and enjoy.
